The Alternative/Indie band Zeugshmitz from Brunico is making music since the 90’s. From the band’s formation in 1992 on, its members Egon “Niggile” Niederkolfer (bass), Gerd „Stolle“ Stoll (guitar and vocals), Klaus “Knut” Balzarek (guitar and vocals) and Matthias “Matti” Pallua (drums), have been active and valuable members of the South Tyrolean music scene.
In 1996 the band released its debut album “The Zeugschmitz” which was presented live in South Tyrol as well as in nearby countries. After that, the band took a break from performing on stage and focused on writing new songs for their 2006 album “It takes time”.
The band members write and arrange all songs themselves, played over 100 live shows with the same line-up and celebrated the band’s 20th anniversary in 2012. Die Alternative/Indie-Rockband Zeugshmitz aus Bruneck gibt’s bereits seit den 90ern. Egon “Niggile” Niederkolfer (Bass), Gerd “Stolle” Stoll (Gitarre und Gesang), Klaus “Knut” Balzarek (Gitarre und Gesang) und Matthias “Matti” Pallua (Schlagzeug) sind seit der Bandgründung im Jahr 1992 fester Bestandteil der Südtiroler Musikszene.
1996 erschien ihre Debüt-CD “The Zeugshmitz”, die in Südtirol und im umliegenden Ausland auf einer Tour vorgestellt wurde. Danach legten die Zeugshmitz eine Konzertpause ein, schrieben neue Songs und gingen schließlich im Dezember 2006 erneut ins Studio, um ihr zweites Album “It Takes Time” einzuspielen.
Die Zeugshmitz haben seit ihrer Bandgründung alle Songs selbst komponiert und insgesamt über 100 Livekonzerte in derselben Bandbesetzung gespielt. 2012 feiert die Band ihr 20-jähriges Bühnenjubiläum. Zu diesem Anlass erschien der neue Longplayer “twenty_eleven”, der ab sofort als freier und legaler Download über das Label Airbagpromo Records erhältlich ist: records.airbagpromo.com

Il gruppo rock alternative-indie Zeugshmitz di Brunico esiste già dagli anni ’90. Egon “Niggile” Niederkofler al basso, Gerd “Stolle” Stoll (chitarra e voce), Klaus “Knut” Balzarek (chitarra e voce) e Matthias “Matti” Pallua alla batteria, a partire dal 1992 costituiscono un componente fisso della scena musicale altoatesina.
Nel 1996 è uscito il loro disco di debutto “The Zeugshmitz”, presentato sia in Alto Adige, che nell’area circostante nell’ambito di un tour. Poi, dopo una pausa, i Zeugshmitz hanno scritto nuove canzoni, tornando in studio nel dicembre del 2006 per registrare il loro secondo lavoro “It Takes Time”.
I Zeugshmitz da sempre compongono canzoni proprie e nel corso della sua vita, il gruppo si è esibito dal vivo ad oltre 100 concerti nella stessa formazione. Da ist er also… der erste Release unseres freien Netlabels für Musiker aus Südtirol. Und der kommt von der Alternativerock-Band “The Boots” aus dem Raum Tauferer-Ahrntal, die in ihren Kompositionen vor allem auf Emotionen setzt. Das hier vorliegende Debüt “This Is Not A Test” wurde im Spätherbst 2008 aufgenommen und umfasst 8 Eigenkompositionen, die ihr ab sofort kostenlos downloaden könnt.
